QUETTA, Oct 5: Veteran Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Ataullah Mengal has stressed the need for using all options for securing the rights of people of Balochistan.Talking to a group of newsmen in his native town of Wadh on Sunday, he said that there should be a combination of parliamentary struggle and militant campaign against ‘usurpers of Baloch rights’.“The parliamentary struggle should not be left to enemies who can use provincial and national assemblies to pass laws against Baloch interests,” Mr Mengal said.  Four FC personnel killed by mine

QUETTA, Sept 30: Four security personnel were killed and five others injured by a landmine in Zain Koh area of Dera Bugti on Tuesday.According to sources, Frontier Corps personnel were on routine patrol when their vehicle hit what a police officer said was an anti-tank mine.FC troops deployed in the area rushed to the place and took the injured to the PPL hospital in Sui.  Balochistan govt drops 8 cases against Khair Baksh Marri
 QUETTA: The government of Balochistan has dropped eight of the nine cases against Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Khair Bukhsh Marri and his son Hayr-byar Marri. Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani made an announcement in this regard on Monday.The only case in which Nawab Khair Bukhsh Marri is still involved relates to the murder of Justice Nawaz Marri.  Baloch leader condemns military operations

National Party Chief Senator Dr. Malik Baloch has condemned the escalation of military operation in Dera Bugti in which innocent people were killed or wounded and alleged that the security forces was once again bleeding the Balochs.
In a statement here on Monday he said though the government was changed, the establishment was still reluctant to change the behaviour against the Baloch people.
Malik Baloch regretted that the apologetic statements of the rulers and the assurances of the government to stop the military operation and empower the provinces to control their resources were just hollow slogans to deceive the Balochs.

QUETTA, Sept 28: At least 25 tribesmen and three Frontier Corps personnel were killed in two days of fighting in Gundoai area of Dera Bugti district.Sources said rocket launchers, mortars and heavy machine-guns were used in the fighting which had begun on Saturday and continued till Sunday afternoon.“We have information that 25 militants have been killed in two days of fighting,” a security official said.He said three FC men had been killed and a dozen others injured.  Dera Bugti heavy fighting continues since last 3 days
 QUETTA: At least seven militants and two FC personnel were killed and four others suffered injuries in a gun battle between security forces and militants in Dera Bugti district on Saturday.
According to reports, over two dozen people have been killed from both sides. However, official sources confirmed the killing of only nine persons, including two security personnel of the Frontier Corps in the day-long battle.
“Two FC men were killed and four injured in the fighting,” a senior official told Dawn, adding that they had information about the killing of seven militants.
The security forces said they destroyed two militant camps and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.

Quetta(online) : Shair Muhammad Bugti the spokesperson of Nawab Bramdagh Bugti,said that the Pakistani forces are indiscriminately shelling the civilian population in Zain-koh and adjoining areas here in Dera Bugti , Occupied Baluchistan. A woman and her baby were killed while her seven year old child and her husband were critically injured when a cannon shell hit their home in Zain-koh. Many Baluch tribesmen mostly women, children, the elderly and non-combatant men have been wounded and or abducted by the Pakistani forces.
