QUETTA: A security guard of former Balochistan chief minister and president of the Balochistan National Party Sardar Akhtar Mengal resurfaced in Sibi on Saturday after allegedly spending nine months in the custody of government agencies.
Noor Ahmed, the son of Abdul Karim Ghamshadzai, was allegedly whisked away by intelligence agencies nine months ago from Sakran Farm in Lasbela. He was among 14 guards of Mengal who went missing soon after the BNP chief was arrested and later shifted to a Karachi jail.
Mengal is charged with torturing of two Military Intelligence personnel. The missing security guards and servants of Mengal have resurfaced in groups of two or three from time to time.
