ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) will initiate work on supplying electricity to Sector G-13 after Eidul Fitr while the tender in this respect has been issued. Following pressure exerted by the Federal Government Housing Employees Foundation, IESCO has decided to start work to supply electricity in Sector G-13 after Eid while work to supply gas will begin after conclusion of the electricity work.
For supply of water, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started boring work and development work is in full swing.
Traffic plan prepared for Eid: In order to control rush and traffic jams during of Eid in the cantonment area, the Traffic Police have prepared a traffic plan.
According to the plan, vehicles lifted from no-parking areas will be fined, while motorbike riders will not be allowed one wheeling and one-way rule will be strictly ensured. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sabir Ahmed has appointed two inspectors, Wajeeullah and Rana Abdul Sattar to supervise the plan. online
