Balach Mari: War in Balochistan & Loss of Precious Lives: Condolences & Call for Action
Military operation in Balochistan is one of the most unforgivable sins committed by the present military regime in Pakistan. The repressive and lethal war imposed on the people in Balochistan has caused death and injuries to a large number of people and has uprooted hundreds of thousands from their homes. It has caused untold of miseries to the people. The unabated military operation has also caused a serious blow to the federation and has permanently alienated from Pakistan a large section of the population in Balochistan, which is now openly calling for an independent Balochistan.
A young Baloch leader Balach Mari is the latest casualty of the ongoing war. We offer our condolences to the family of the slain leader and to the people of Balochistan on this tragedy. We express our solidarity with our brethren in Balochistan at this critical moment.
We also demand an immediate end to the military operation in Balochistan, release of all political prisoners, rehabilitation of all uprooted people and institution of cases against the military regime for heinous crimes it has committed in Balochistan as elsewhere including the assassination of veteran leader Akbar Bugti and several others.
We also urge all the civil society leadership to raise a voice for the rights of the people in Balochistan and expose and condemn the crimes and the atrocities being committed against the people in Balochistan.

Baloch nation is once again saddened at the latest tragedy of Balach Marri's martyrdom.
Balach was member of the Balochistan Assembly and son of the great Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Khair Baxsh Marri who was well-educated and highly intelligent young leader. He left the comfort of life in Europe for the mountains of Balochistan for a noble cause of freedom and justice. He was able to reorganize Baloch freedom struggle and give them confidence and courage.
Balochistan Peoples Party consider it as a great loss to Baloch national struggle at this important period of Baloch history and believes Balach Marri's heroic action to sacrifice himself for his nation is a great loss but his blood will fertilize and grow the seeds which have been cultivated by Baloch pioneer martyrs such as Nourooz Khan, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and Dr. Khalid Baloch.
We strongly condemn the inhuman action of Pakistani military rulers against Baloch nation and martyrdom of Nawabzada Balach Marri along with his comrades.

HYDERABAD: Balach’s killing condemned
HYDERABAD, Nov 24: The Sindh Hari Committee has condemned the murder of Baloch leader, Mir Balach Mari, and said that it was in fact the murder of ‘oppressed nations’.
The committee held a condolence meeting here on Friday under the chairmanship of Azhar Jatoi which expressed profound sorrow and grief over the killing of Mir Balach Mari.
The meeting said that in the history of Balochistan, Balach Mari would be remembered as a hero.
