London: 25 November: a meeting was held by Balochistan Action Committee UK, World Sindhi Congress (WSC) and Sindhi Baloch Forum in London UK to pay tribute to great Baloch national leader and hero, Mir Balach Marri who was martyred by Pakistan’s military on Nov 21.
The organisations strongly condemned the barbaric crime of Pakistani military who time and again have unequivocally reiterated their intention to eliminate genuine Baloch leadership. The meeting stated that the ultimate sacrifice of Balach will not go in vain.
He was and will always remain a source of inspiration for the downtrodden people of Balochistan and Sindh and his sacrifice will prove a beginning of an end to the subjugation of Baloch and Sindhi people. The meeting also condemned the Nazi style propaganda of Pakistani agencies to create confusion and disseminate misinformation on the issue in order to hide their crime and demoralize Baloch and Sindhi people.
The meeting offered their most sincere condolences to Mir Balach’s family and Baloch people on this irreparable personal and national loss. The meeting resolved to organise a condolence and remembrance meeting to pay respects and tributes to great slain leader and hero of Baloch nation on Sunday 2 Dec 2007.
