KARACHI: Hussain Khan, the founding leader of the Association of Coloured People, and former chief advisor of the late Khan of Qalat, has demanded the government announce amnesty for Brahamdagh Bugti and the sons of Nawab Khair Bux Marri. In a statement issued here on Friday, he said that it was a good omen that after the release of Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the government had also released the grandson of Nawab Akbar Bugti. “The government should also announce clearly that the other grandson of Nawab Bugti, Nawabzada Brahamdagh Bugti, has been pardoned, and he may return to Pakistan and move freely in his own country,” he said. Hussain said that the sons of Nawab Khair Bux Marri should also be given the same treatment. It would be yet another step towards reconciliation as the PPP leadership has been speaking about it very loudly, and would be much appreciated especially among the people of Balochistan, he added.
