Balochistan: Gas pipeline blown up in Thal

JACOBABAD: Unidentified men on Tuesday blew up a gas pipeline in Nasser Shak, Thal. Various blasts were heard in the border areas of Sindh and Balochistan. Meanwhile, in an incident in Dera Bugti, gunmen attacked a security guard of Mir Ahmadan Bugti, a member of the National Assembly. Sources said that Liaquat Ali Bugti was going home when he came under attack.

He has been admitted to the Dera Bugti civil hospital.

Mine blast injures two security men

Two security personnel were injured on Tuesday in a landmine explosion in the Sohbatpur area of Nasirabad district. Sources said that the security personnel whose identity could not be confirmed were on a routine patrol when one of them stepped over a landmine. As a result, both of them were seriously injured and admitted to hospital for treatment.

Bugti’s grandson meets Raisani

QUETTA: Shahzain Bugti, the grandson of late Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, met Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani at Chief Minister’s House on Tuesday. During the meeting, Shahzain Bugti and Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) leaders discussed the ongoing reconciliatory process and release of political prisoners in the province with the CM. Shahzain Bugti praised the efforts and interest of the CM about the reconciliatory process, which made his release possible as well.
