QUETTA: A police constable was shot dead while another was injured when some unidentified armed men attacked them here in Wahdat Colony on Friday evening, according to the police.
The policemen were on a routine patrol on their motorcycle when some armed men opened fire on them. Constable Asghar Ali sustained severe bullet wounds and died instantly while Ali Zaheer was injured. The injured constable returned fire, injuring a passer-by. The injured constable and the man were taken to Bolan Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
