QUETTA: The law and order situation in Balochistan is poor but the ongoing reconciliation process will bring peace to the province, Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Magsi said on Tuesday.
The governor was talking to reporters after chairing the fourth convocation of the Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Science. Magsi denied any military operation was underway in Dera Bugti.
To a question, the governor said the provincial government had received funds for the rehabilitation of earthquake victims, adding that the earthquake victims whose quake-related losses were not assessed in the survey would be compensated. app
